Our range of suture material features two main types of needle:
Reverse Cutting
This is a needle with a triangular cross section and an apex cutting edge on the outside of the needle curvature. This design ensures easy initial tissue penetration for the suture material.
Reverse Cutting with Micro Point
This is a needle with a thin tip and an apex cutting edge on the outside. The body is gradually flattened after the needle tip for greater stability within the needle holder. This is an ideal needle for plastic surgery where cosmetic results are imperative.
