Aesculap Bone Split Kit
In case of poor bone thickness up to 3mm, it's possible to split the jaw-bone (Bone Split) and separate it by means of special chisels, the so called Osteotomes. Finally a gap occurs between buccal and lingual respectively buccal and palatinal bone-lamella, where we can insert an implant.
Another indication could be the "chiseling out" of bone-transplants. In any case the user is supported by the ERGOPLANT handle design. Together with Dr. Stricker, we developed a special "Step-Osteotome". Due to this innovative instrument, cracks on the bone-lamella, as often occurs particularly on thin jaw-bones, can be avoided now.
